Meet the Candlemaker
Hi There!
I'm Madi, the founder of
Sugar Mill Apothecary. ​​

I hand-pour all of my candles straight from my house in St. Louis! The beeswax I use in each candle is sourced from an independent beekeeper in Ballwin, MO, and I only use fragrances from the CleanScent line or pure essential oils.
​
All of my candles are 100% phthalate-free and abide by California's Prop 65, which is a proposition created to protect consumers from harmful chemicals. I'm very proud of the quality of my candles and how safe they are for the average consumer. Give them a try for yourself!

Our garden Journey
Our garden is one that keeps giving every season. This summer, native bees and insects loved our loofa blossoms, and in the fall, new life sprung up in the form of compost-loving mushrooms. In the winter, native insects and bugs can seek refuge in the withered plants undistrubed, so that they can come back in the spring to pollunate all the local flowers
